The Protomen's opinion on Legends 3's cancellation and the current hate towards Capcom was recently posted on their site's news bulletin.
"Now, I can’t speak for the game cancellations, but the general vitriol surrounding Capcom at the moment needs to end. We understand that it’s upsetting to see a game you’ve been waiting for get cancelled at the last minute, but maybe now is the time to focus on letting them know how much we all need that Protomen/Man Game to be made… (OK, I think that’s enough self promotion and exploitation of a situation for one email)."

You're kind of taking that out of context. That was a pretty long announcement you cut that out of.

Keep in mind that some angry fan faked a Capcom cease-and-desist order targeted at the Protomen on accounts of IP infringement—they've already become involved in the community's plight and outrage!

Yeah, what you cut that out of was them addressing that C&D as false and just advertising what they've been up to.

Regardless, they seem to be in the same mindset as most of the LegendsNeverDie(at least I hope) campaigners. We need to minimize the hate for Capcom and maximize the love for Legends.
